We do not charge for diagnosis. If we are unable to recover your data, you pay nothing whatsoever.
- We believe we are the only data recovery company in the world who has, since inception, offered special rates to students and private individuals.
- This service is available only to private individuals and students. Please do not select this service for commercial or business data.
- Turnaround is normally between four days and one week.However, if you are a student with an urgent assignment that needs to be submitted within this timescale, let us know immediately and we will do our utmost to help.
- The basic fee payable for a normal recovery is £195.00 plus VAT. However, if firmware repairs are required, the fee rises to £245.00 plus VAT. If hardware intervention is required, the cost for desktop hard drives up to and including 300GB and for laptop drives up to 160GB is £275.00 plus VAT and for drives larger than this, to £295.00 plus VAT.
- The above prices include recovering and transferring to DVD up to 20GB of data. We will provide you with a file listing, so that you can select which data you need. If you have well in excess of 20GB of data you need recovering (this would not normally include applications, program files and the operating system) please contact us to discuss the pricing.
- We will happily transfer your data to a hard drive provided by yourself, or you can have one sent to us directly from a number of online retailers we work with.
The reason we charge so much extra for recovering drives needing mechanical intervention, is that we have to purchase a suitable donor drive.And, because the drive has to match more details than simply the size and model number, it can mean paying twice as much for a donor drive as what a brand new drive costs.
Our pricing structure above relate to single drives only. Recovery of RAID arrays, multiple drives, some other storage systems, Apple Mac, Linux and Novell systems will all be charged differently, depending on the nature of the problem.
