Data Recovery from Retrodata » Standard Service
We do not charge for diagnosis. If we are unable to recover your data, you pay nothing whatsoever.
- We believe we are the only data recovery company in the world who has, since inception, offered special rates to students and private individuals.
- This service is available only to private individuals and students. Please do not select this service for commercial or business data.
- Turnaround is normally between four days and one week.However, if you are a student with an urgent assignment that needs to be submitted within this timescale, let us know immediately and we will do our utmost to help.
- The fee chargeable for the recovery of strictly domestic- or personal-only data from a single hard drive will be in the region of £195.00 to £350.00 plus VAT, depending on the nature of the problem and the hard drive model. We will always inform you of the actual cost following diagnosis, and you are under no obligation to proceed if the price exceeds your expectation. For RAID storage units and other media, please contact us for pricing.
- The above prices include recovering and transferring to DVD up to 20GB of data. We will provide you with a file listing, so that you can select which data you need. If you have well in excess of 20GB of data you need recovering (this would not normally include applications, program files and the operating system) please contact us to discuss the pricing.
- We will happily transfer your data to a hard drive provided by yourself, or you can have one sent to us directly from a number of online retailers we work with.
Our pricing structure above relate to single drives only. Recovery of RAID arrays, multiple drives, some other storage systems, Apple Mac, Linux and Novell systems will all be charged differently, depending on the nature of the problem.
