We do not charge for diagnosis. If we are unable to recover your data, you pay nothing whatsoever.

This service is aimed at clients who require an emergency (same-day) turnaround. We will generally begin work on your media within 30 minutes of receiving it, and it will take precedence over all other work of a lower priority. Please be aware that, as with all recoveries, and with all data recovery companies, if donor components are required, the sourcing thereof (if we do not already hold stocks) can delay the recovery. In many cases, the recovery can be expedited if you are able to email us clear photographs of the front and rear labels on the drive so that we can identify the requirements for a suitable donor in advance, if necessary
The fee for an emergency recovery of a single drive will vary from £450.00 up to £750.00, and possibly more, depending on the nature of the failure, file system or data corruption requiring intensive, hands-on attention, and the hard drive model itself. Once we have quoted, you are under no obligation to proceed if the price exceeds your expectation. For RAID arrays, JBOD and multiple-drive storage, and for other media, please contact us for pricing.
We are able to copy up to 20GB of recovered data to DVD. Should the data be in excess of this, we will either copy it to loan media, or to a new drive – whichever is more convenient for you.
Recovery of RAID arrays, multiple drives, some other storage systems, Apple Mac, Linux and Novell systems will all be charged differently, depending on the nature of the problem.

However, we must again stress that no fees or surcharges whatsoever will be charged if we do not successfully recover your data.
