No – we never charge for diagnosis for normal data recovery.
However, there are some occasions where we will require payment for the work undertaken. These tend to be limited to the following scenarios:
- Forensics investigations
- Extraction of data from extremely complex, proprietary devices where, on rare occasions, we will need to purchase specialist equipment in order to provide a diagnosis
