HP Server recovery.
By professionals.
If your HP server has crashed, will not boot, has a corrupt RAID or file system, a power surge left you unable to access the data, or it has failed for any other reason, our engineers are on call. If you have lost data from a RAID array, our RAID engineers consistently and successfully recover and retrieve data from RAID storage that other data recovery providers have declared to be unrecoverable. They work with all file systems and all operating systems, and all RAID levels.
If you have already attempted recovery but have been unable to bring the server back up, please stop. You risk causing further data loss, or even complete loss of data. There are many occasions where the best immediate solution is to remove the power source, disabling an orderly shutdown that can often delete system files we would find valuable in a data recovery situation. Please call us; we will explain the reasons for this, and we will advise you what you should do next.
Hard drive failure – or multiple drive failure. This can often be recovered. If the Server is hanging, it’s often best to remove all power to the server or storage device.
RAID failed or RAID rebuild failed. Almost always recoverable; if a hot-swap drive or hot spare has been utilised and the server is making no progress with the rebuild, please contact us. The rebuild may be causing severe data corruption.
If a Power surge or power failure has prevented the server from rebooting, it’s usually best to keep the server powered off until we receive it and diagnose it. Before recovery is even attempted, we need to make secure copies of each disk drive.
We know what server downtime can do to the productivity and continuity of a busy organisation. We understand, and have experienced, the frustration of staff who have lost access to their data. We also know that you want a reliable, dependable and established company to restore you and your data to full operation, and we will work hard to achieve this. Retrodata has an enviable reputation. We’re different from other data recovery providers; we have no red tape to inhibit our processes, and we are flexible. We are also able and willing to move swiftly into action to help out.
