Retrodata’s engineers have an enviable reputation for their ability to recover and restore storage servers that have previously been deemed unrecoverable by other providers.
We have developed unique RAID recovery techniques that involve neither the file system nor the operating system. Both are transparent during the recovery procedure.
If you have a storage server that has crashed, we don’t just recover the data; we will restore and recover the entire server. This completely removes the need for time-consuming data transfer and server reconfiguration with other methods, shaving days or even weeks off your downtime.
If your server has crashed, will not boot, has a corrupt RAID or file system, or has failed for any other reason, our engineers are waiting to speak to you, to advise you on the best course of action, and to establish a recovery plan. They are able to move immediately to begin the process.
As a solid, established company with a proven track record and industry-leading recovery skills, Retrodata can be depended on for the rapid restoration of your business to full production.
All RAID storage supported; from smaller arrays up to 16 disks, to enterprise storage networks consisting of hundreds of drives.
We support all file systems, although some of our RAID recovery techniques bypass the file system itself.
There are no operating systems that can complicate our recovery methods – although our engineers are still knowledgeable of them all.
We have experienced the effect on business continuity that failed storage systems and potential loss of data can cause. At best it’s a nuisance. At worst, it can cripple an organisation and bring it to its knees.
That’s why we go the extra ten miles when it comes to quick, efficient and secure data recovery, to ensure it never gets past the “nuisance” stage. Especially when livelihoods are depending on it. Regardless of the failure, we’re utterly determined we will get you up and running again. Quickly. Possibly even today.
Why use Retrodata? • RAID Recovery • Emergency Recovery • Why RAID fails
Emergency Data Recovery We can (in all likelihood) regenerate and rebuild your RAID and start recovering and extracting your data from within as little as one hour of receipt of the drives from your RAID array.
Deleted data recovery
Depending on the file system and operating system if you have accidentally erased data, and no further activity has taken place, it is sometimes best to immediately remove power from the storage, and prevent a normal shutdown. If you call us, we will explain the reasons for this. We recover deleted data, but the success rate depends on the system itself.
If your Dell Server has failed and initial attempts to bring it back up have failed, please do not continue powering the server on and off, and under no circumstances try to rebuild the RAID or swap out any hard drives. Of the totally destroyed data scenarious we see, almost all have been caused by the IT admin or user repeatedly and incessantly trying recovery routines. If no-one has made any attempt at file recovery, we can practically guarantee a 100% successful recovery from a failed Dell Server or Dell RAID storage device.
