Disaster Recovery

clients outside the uk

  • Emergency turnaround – from as little as three hours
  • We work with all operating systems
  • We work with all file systems
  • We recover failed RAID arrays of any level
  • We recover Compaq, Dell, HP, IBM and all other servers
  • Full system rebuild service to get you up and running urgently
  • Highly competent hardware and software engineers

If you have a mission-critical computer or server  that has failed and it is powered off, we recommend that you keep it switched off and contact us immediately for advice. Further attempts to access the hard drive or rebuild a RAID array may very well damage the data further – especially if a rebuild has already failed.

We offer emergency data recovery and system reconstruction for single hard drives and RAID or JBOD arrays, where we aim to return the recovered data to you within six to twenty-four hours, depending on the size and number of hard drives, the nature of the failure, and the file system itself.

Full System rebuild

  • Full operating system rebuild
  • All programs and applications reinstated – not just your data
  • All user account settings and permissions restored
  • Reduces your downtime potential by days
  • All Windows systems supported – contact us for other operating systems

In the event of critical downtime, we have highly skilled software engineers who will rebuild your system, restoring both data, configuration and all settings to the state they were in before the failure.

This can be of considerable benefit if the failed server or computer would otherwise require days of setup and configuration, or if it has proprietary software installed. This bespoke service is charged extra; we will be able to quote only after the recovery has taken place, but you will not be under any obligation to proceed with the rebuild option.

Our emergency data recovery Services cover any failed single hard drive, any RAID or JBOD system, or on systems running any version of Windows (with or without dynamic disks), Apple Mac OS, Linux, UNIX, Ubuntu, Solaris, etc.

We recover data from drives or arrays that are corrupt or inaccessible as a result of the RAID controller failure, RAID rebuild failure, power failure, power surge, data deletion (accidental or otherwise) or from single, non-RAID hard drive failure.

We perform emergency recoveries on any FAT, XFS, NTFS, UFS, HFS, HFS+, NWFS, Ext2/3/4 file systems and NAS / SAN devices (see Quick Lists in menu above for details).

Emergency recoveries from RAID arrays or JOBs are extremely intensive; extracting and recovering the data and copying it to another medium takes between 4 and 15 hours per Terabyte, so this needs to be factored into your time scale.
