Advanced in-house data engineering facilities. If your device is not recognised, we write device drivers to gain access.
We extract and recover data from the following devices:
Any obsolete, legacy or unidentifiable device
Data recovery from Magneto Optical and WORM discs is a field in which Retrodata excel – especially if the data residing on these discs is in a format that is compressed, or which has been written using proprietary methods.
We have a range of MO readers and writers ranging from the obsolete Pioneer DC-502A, to Plasmon (UDO), Maxoptix, Sony, Hewlett Packard, Toshiba and numerous legacy, proprietary and modern drives.
We have in-house software engineering facilities which enable us to access obsolete and proprietary devices by writing our own device drivers; similarly, we are able to write programs to extract and work with the data, regardless of the format. This includes data that has been compressed, and which usually foils standard data recovery techniques.
